Back Alley
This is a small Back alley in between two buildings. It is the so-called back lane as well. I am surprised that it is decorated with plants and also a small little taoist temple with red roof. It is the temple for (Dato Kong/ Na Tuk Kong.) His worshippers is to belief that this Malay-chinese/ Malay-muslim medium are not to be ignored or disturbed, as it has powerful influence over their daily lifes.

Malayan Tobacco Company
This picture was taken in 1962, when the president of the Pan-Malayan Coffee shops' Association, Mr. Lim Jew Siang and his representatives visited the Malayan Tobacco Company. Mr. D. Brisden was then the chairman of the Malayan Tobacco Company. What interest me in this photo was that I did not know there was a so-called Coffee shops' Association and I wonder whether this association still exists today? Also the people portray in this picture has all the same kind of hairstyle, which are typically chinese! Cute.
